Welcoming CHOCA, a DJ & producer from San Juan, Argentina currently residing in Buenos Aires as an active member of the underground scene.

The internet, the night, queer culture and Gen Z are all reflected in this three track narrative mixtape, shining a light on her multifaceted artistic practice that stretches into every corner of the city.

Her sound is versatile and refuses to be categorised by genre or aesthetic. Telling a story through sonic materialisation of experience, evident in ‘Scams and Schemes’. This release conveys the feelings of the club through different materials in which it manifests itself and guides her inspirations.

Filled with unidentifiable sounds, the listener is introduced to her range of emotion in ‘From South To Everywhere’. A climatic prelude to entering ‘Delusional State’ which is marred by chopped glitches and signals before a moment of confusion leads the listener into a 160 bpm club ready beat from another dimension.

‘Thinking Outloud’ closes out the maelstrom of sounds on a reflective note, a meditation on dissonance. Peeling back layers of sound, she gives the listener the freedom to decide what they want to tear out of her elusive, highly personalised artistic range.
