CROSSROADS E.P is the sophomore release from Lambeth-based producer INTENTIONALLY COLD; continuing his exploration of the axis between grime and accelerated club styles with five emotive and exhilarating cuts.

First track STR88 PULL UP announces itself with contorted voices and ominous drones, before kicking in with bass pulses and the producer’s characteristic snatches of hypnotic, percussive vocal samples.

NEW ERA 2009 picks up the pace with immediate driving percussion and spiralling FX, launching the track into a tense mixture of static synth stabs and choral melodies with a sheen of saturation.

3rd and 4th tracks I NEED ft. CALCIFER & ALRIGHT FOR SOME both continue the artist’s investigation of grime’s outer limits, with raw synth sounds, pummelling kicks and disembodied vocals featuring throughout.

The E.Ps title track CROSSROADS closes the EP with an array of glacial synth sounds, allowing the listener to survey the piercing sonic landscape it has constructed from a place of intimate shelter.

CROSSROADS E.P is available across all platforms from the 31st of August.
