New York native DJ Torture debuts single ‘Kastiga’ via Watford club collective Tobago Tracks, set to release on 17/06/2016 ‘Kastiga’ features remixes from Parisian DJ Raven and elite beat vogue house legend Vjuan Allure.

Something of an enigma, DJ Torture occupies the underground lofi scene with previous cuts spanning from melodic, stripped back house music to gruelling techno rhythms. With previous tracks entitled ‘Open Wound’ and ‘UGH’ DJ Torture’s direct and brutal approach to music is both feared and revered amongst his mould- breaking contemporaries.

The aptly named ‘Kastiga’ EP simply translates to ‘Punish’; which makes for a tormenting slab of lofi techno infused with soca percussion. The rolling calypso beat paired with Torture’s grating synth stabs make this barebones production both obscene and addictive. No hooks or chorus, this sinister cut will have the dancefloor hypnotised.
